The Catalyst
The National Innovation Centre for Data (NICD) has announced the return of their highly regarded Data Innovation Bootcamps. This immersive and interactive learning opportunity will introduce Newcastle University students to innovation methods that explore how to create new products and services that customers want.
Students will gain all-important problem-solving and business skills, exploring data, in collaboration with the Digital Skills Lab, to gain business insight. The bootcamp will offer direct collaboration with industry leaders and guidance from domain experts.

What do NICD need from you?
A live business problem, supported by a relevant data set (or sets), which is currently being explored within your organisation.
One or more people to act as subject matter experts to provide context, detail and challenge for student ideas.
The availability of the subject matter experts for around 1-2 hours per day during programme delivery (remote or in-person).
